A unique film which has elements in “virtual reality” has been launched by the RoadPeace North East local group following their annual Service of Remembrance for Road Crash Victims which was held at Durham Cathedral.

The film highlights the need for slower speeds and for the need for drivers to look out for pedestrians. It features the powerful  testimonies of local RoadPeace members who give moving accounts of the impact of losing their own loved ones in a crash.

Teesside University filmed the project coordinating with RoadPeace North East, Cleveland Police Special Constabulary, “Cliff Theatre” group, Ian Ramsey CE Academy, North East Ambulance Service, Teesside Park and RoadPeace Legal Panel members Thompsons Solicitors (who kindly co-funded the film).
