Thank you to the many people who joined us at the weekend for our annual Ceremony of Remembrance, at National Memorial Arboretum, in Staffordshire.
The event, which took place on Saturday to mark National Road Victim Month, was attended by more than 100 people, including bereaved families, crash victims, volunteers and members of the emergency services.
The ceremony took place in this symbolic location to remember those who have been killed or seriously injured in road collisions.
Led by Rector Jeremy Allcock, the service included music from the Canoldir/Icknield Male Voice Choir, performing as Birmingham Male Voice Choir, and reflections and poems were read by bereaved family members. Pictured above is Tesse Akpeki, who spoke about the death of her beloved brother, Anthony Akpeki.
Members of the emergency services read out the names of people killed on our roads and flowers were placed at our memorial stone, at RoadPeace Wood.
