Last week’s RoadPeace E-Leaflet Week (July 14–18, 2025) was a powerful show of community effort and compassion. With over 2,000 leaflets distributed across 12 regions, the campaign brought vital support information to libraries, hospitals, coroners’ offices, and community centres nationwide. Volunteers, partners, and supporters came together to ensure that those affected by road crashes know help is available.
Our Founder In Action: Brigitte Chaudhry, founder of RoadPeace, turned personal tragedy into a national mission. She shared leaflets with her local Women’s Institute group and personally visited St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, where a bereavement officer called the materials “so helpful” for suddenly bereaved families.
Brigiette envisions RoadPeace resources in every hospital, funeral home, police station, and emergency service ready the moment tragedy strikes.

Thank You to Everyone Who Contributed Locally: Peter was one of several dedicated volunteers who took part. He leafleted by bike across Oxford from libraries to trauma units and funeral homes, RoadPeace reached vital spaces:
- Oxford Central Library (Westgate)
- Citizens Advice, Cutteslowe
- John Radcliffe Hospital (Trauma Unit, Mortuary)
- Coroner’s Court
- Funeral Directors on Banbury Road

Looking Ahead: This successful Leaflet Week is just the beginning. RoadPeace aims to build a year-round national network, ensuring every road crash victim and bereaved family gets support when they need it most.
