We’re thrilled to share that the team taking on the National Three Peaks Challenge in memory of their beloved friend Robert Bown, AKA Bowny, has successfully completed the climb!
Their journey wasn’t just about conquering mountains—it was a heartfelt mission to support RoadPeace and Andy’s Man Club, raising awareness around grief, men’s mental health, and the importance of reaching out when struggling.
The team has gone above and beyond, surpassing their fundraising target of £2,500 by raising an incredible £4,285.57 + £718.14 Gift Aid! Every donation will directly support people navigating grief, trauma, and mental health challenges.
Reflecting on the challenge, Marlon Martin shares:
“If by the end of the challenge one person who is struggling with the bereavement of a friend or family member, or having mental health struggles, feels they can reach out and know that charities like RoadPeace and Andy’s Man Club are there and may be able to help, then the hard physical miles climbed will be well worth it.”
This achievement is a powerful reminder of the love and friendship behind every fundraiser. The physical challenge was immense, but the emotional impact is even greater honouring Bowny’s memory and helping others facing grief and mental health struggles.
🎉 Congratulations to the team! Your dedication, courage, and generosity have made a lasting difference.
