A huge thank you to all of our members who attended our AGM on Friday 19th June. As apprehensive as we were here at RoadPeace about the capacity for technology to fail us, we’re pleased to report that our first online AGM was a success.
If you missed the event but wanted to attend, you can view a recording of it here
Members heard from Detective Superintendent Andy Cox who runs The Metropolitan Police Service’s Vision Zero task force, and spoke about how they are tackling the challenges on our roads during lockdown and as we come out of it.
Many thanks Andy for your excellent presentation.
Formal AGM business followed – reporting on the successes of last year. Please do watch the recording of the AGM if you would like to find out more about this.
And the meeting ended with this year’s Mansoor Chaudhry Award – given for outstanding contribution to RoadPeace. Linda Antell was this year’s recipient for her tireless efforts sending cards and poems to RoadPeace members on the anniversary of their loved one’s death.
As we couldn’t give the award in person, we put together a video thanking Linda for all her work. You can view the moving film below.
Many thanks to all of you who attended.
