We are honoured to recognise Verity and Jason North for their incredible dedication and fundraising efforts in memory of their beloved daughters, Maddie and Libby.
Last August, Verity and Jason held a heartfelt event to celebrate the lives of their daughters, who tragically died in 2023 due to a crash caused by a speeding, uninsured driver under the influence of drugs. Maddie and Libby were just 21 and 17 years old, leaving behind a legacy of love, joy, and potential that was cut short far too soon. Despite the immense grief they have faced, Verity and Jason’s strength and resilience have been nothing short of remarkable.
Through their unwavering commitment, they raised an incredible amount — a powerful tribute to their daughters’ memory. This contribution will go a long way in supporting RoadPeace’s mission, enabling us to provide vital services for those affected by road crashes and advocate for safer roads. Their efforts are a testament to the enduring love parents have for their children and the power of community in times of unimaginable loss. Their dedication continues to inspire all those who hear their story.
We are deeply grateful to Verity and Jason for their ongoing support, which will continue to make a difference in the lives of others facing similar tragedies. Our thoughts remain with them and all who knew and loved Maddie and Libby. Thank you for your inspiring efforts and for honouring their memory in such a meaningful way.
