The RoadPeace Challenge is returning for 2025, and we need you to join us in making a difference! Taking place from May 12-18, during UN Global Road Safety Week, this annual event raises awareness and funds to support road crash victims and advocate for safer roads.
RoadPeace Challenge 2025 – 1,624 Miles for 1,624 Lives
This years challenge will take place on May 12-18, 2025 during the UN Global Road Safety Week.
1,624 people were killed on UK roads in 2024. That’s 1,624 families left shattered, grieving, and forever changed. We’re calling on you to walk, run, or cycle to honour lives taken, support bereaved families, and fight for safer roads. Together, we will cover 1,624 miles—one mile for every life taken—sending a powerful message that every life matters.
7 Days, 7 Services – Why This Challenge Matters
Each day of the challenge highlights a critical RoadPeace support service, showing how your participation and fundraising directly help victims’ families:
May 12 – Helpline – The first call, the first step for families in crisis.
May 13 – Regional Groups – A space for those who’ve lost loved ones to find strength in each other.
May 14 – National Advocacy – Fighting for victims’ rights and road safety policy changes.
May 15 – Resilience Building – Helping families navigate the long road to healing.
May 16 – Befrienders – A lifeline of support from those who’ve been through the same loss.
May 17 – Justice & Accountability – Supporting families through legal battles for fair outcomes.
May 18 – Remembrance – A time to honour, reflect, and never forget those lost.
“Each mile you cover is a tribute, a step toward justice, and a call for safer roads.”
– Howard Jones, CEO of RoadPeace
