We are proud to announce that RoadPeace, in partnership with Transport for West Midlands (TfWM), has been recognised as a Winner at the NTA 2025 Awards for Excellence in Road Safety, Traffic Management, and Enforcement.
This achievement was made possible through a collaboration between the West Midlands Group and TfWM, working together to tackle road danger and support families affected by road crashes. By sharing victims’ stories, we humanise the statistics behind road deaths and serious injuries, encouraging safer behaviour from all road users.
Through joint campaigns, educational events, and remembrance activities, we aim to embed road danger reduction into local transport planning. These initiatives form a key part of TfWM’s Vision Zero strategy, which strives to eliminate fatalities and serious injuries by 2041.
This award highlights the impact of charities and transport authorities working hand in hand. By combining RoadPeace’s advocacy with TfWM’s operational reach, we are raising awareness, influencing policy, and creating safer, more compassionate road networks.
We would like to acknowledge and thank all the West Midlands Group participants whose dedication and hard work made this possible:
Abbie Brooks, Diane Cash, Diane Gall, Stevie Booth, Jean Bates, Roger Bates, Colin Roberts, Mandy Gayle, Natty Cash, Lesley Bates, Sonia Gandham, and Lucy Harrison.
A very special thanks goes to Darren Divall, Mark Corbin, and Aimee Dyer, whose leadership and support were instrumental in making this collaboration a success.
