The Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) has launched a campaign “Rebuilding Shattered Lives”.
The campaign highlights the impact of serious injury following a road crash, and the importance of having a specialised personal injury solicitor in helping victims cope and recover.
In 2019, there were almost 26,000 people reported seriously injured as a result of a road crash in Britain. Beyond the pain and trauma of injury, the impact of serious injury can be devastating. Victims’ and their family’s livelihoods can be affected, putting them in financial difficulties. And the ability to recover from serious injury is often determined by access to rehabilitation. Access to a specialised injury solicitor is essential in accessing compensation claims which mitigate financial difficulty and enable access to physical and emotional rehabilitation.
The RoadPeace Legal Panel aims to help and support people bereaved or seriously injured in a road collision by enabling them access high quality legal advice and justice, including fair compensation.
Nothing can compensate someone for the loss of a loved one or a debilitating lifelong condition but accessing legal advice and representation can help support people through proceedings, access their financial entitlements and appropriate health care, and pursue a fair compensation claim.
