At the beginning of March, we were delighted to welcome Simon Faulkner to the RoadPeace team.
In the role of Membership and Supporter Engagement Coordinator, he’ll be supporting the team with operations and office administration, coordinating the stewardship of our members and supporters along their various journeys with us, as well as delivering our annual programme of events. He’ll most likely be the first person you’ll speak to when you get in touch with us, so do say ‘hello!’.
In his working life, Simon has always worked for organisations with a focus on people, having managed a volunteering scheme at the Royal Geographical Society for four years, worked in a social enterprise start-up for over a year, and having spent the last couple of years working for the mental health campaign Time to Change. He’s really interested in systems and process and making people feel welcomed, valued and supported, and we’re excited for him to bring his experiences and love of those things to RoadPeace.
A keen cyclist, and music fan – you’ll most likely find Simon on a gravelly bike ride or in a dingy music venue in Camden. He also loves the natural world, art and video games.
Simon says;
‘I’m really inspired by the work that RoadPeace does and I’m delighted to be part of the team.
I look forward to meeting and working with the whole community all over the next few months, but please don’t hesitate to drop me a line on simon.faulkner@roadpeace.org / info@roadpeace.org if you’d like in the meantime.’
