As part of a daring plan to raise money for RoadPeace (and amputee charity, Limbless Association) a team of eight lawyers from specialist injury firm and RoadPeace Legal Panel member Bolt Burdon Kemp are setting their sights on the SIX Peaks Challenge.
In addition to summiting the famous National Three Peaks (Scotland’s Ben Nevis, England’s Scafell Pike and Wale’s Snowdon) the intrepid group of lawyers will also be climbing the Yorkshire Three Peaks… all in one challenge and over one weekend!
The team will be walking over 50 miles up and down the mountains over the course of two days. The event organisers have advised that few people have completed this challenge, so a great deal of training and preparation will be required.
Ben Pepper, one of the team and a Senior Solicitor in the Complex Injury department at Bolt Burdon Kemp commented:
“Over recent years I have learnt a great deal about the fantastic work that RoadPeace do in supporting road crash victims and their families and also in campaigning for road safety. My colleagues and I are all too familiar with the devastation that road crashes can cause. We are thrilled to support both RoadPeace and Limbless Association in what will certainly be a very demanding challenge.”
The event will commence in Scotland in the early morning of Saturday 8 September and will finish at the top of Snowdon in the late evening of Sunday 9 September 2018.
