It has now been five years since the tragic loss of Georgia Leigh Ogden, a bright, loving young woman taken far too soon in a road traffic collision near Congleton, Cheshire. Known affectionately as Gee or Oggy, Georgia was just 17 years old, with her whole life ahead of her.
Her family’s heartbreak is unimaginable, yet from that pain they created something powerful The Georgia Leigh Ogden Foundation — dedicated to carrying forward Georgia’s spirit by supporting charities and families affected by similar tragedies. Through their tireless efforts, the foundation has become a beacon of hope and kindness in their community.
In this fifth year since Georgia’s passing, the foundation has generously supported RoadPeace, enabling us to continue offering essential support to bereaved families and to campaign passionately for safer roads, particularly protecting young and inexperienced drivers.
Georgia’s memory is a daily inspiration to all who knew her and those who hear her story. We hold deep respect and gratitude for her family’s courage and generosity in transforming unimaginable loss into a lasting legacy of care, compassion, and change.
