In a heartfelt tribute to Hayley Worthington, who was tragically killed in a road crash in 2000, her family have sponsored Halewood Town Junior Football Club’s kit this season, featuring the RoadPeace logo prominently on the shirts.
Victoria Worthington, Hayley’s sister, said: “We thought it would be a lovely idea to use RoadPeace as their Sponsor as you have helped over the years, with events and meeting other families who have also lost their loved ones. We appreciate all you do for the families of road crash victims.”
Victoria’s nephew, Michael Hughes, is pictured above with his Grandad, Ronnie Worthington, at the club’s ground in Liverpool.
We are so grateful to the Worthington family for such a touching and meaningful tribute. This gesture not only honours Hayley’s memory, but also raises vital awareness about road danger and the vital work that RoadPeace does to support families affected by road collisions.
