Gateway 2 Conveyancing, are proud to support RoadPeace as our Charity of the Year for 2025. To raise funds, a team of 11 will be running the Cardiff 10K in September, alongside other fundraising efforts—stay tuned!
We’ve also set up a JustGiving page to support RoadPeace’s vital work: Hannah Dudding is fundraising for RoadPeace
For Hannah, this cause is deeply personal. Her sister’s tragic road crash changed everything. Here’s her story…
“On a normal Sunday in November 2023 I received a phone call from my parents which changed my world forever. My darling sister Alice had been killed after being hit by a car whilst out walking her dog. I will never forget the shock and devastation I felt that day, and to be honest, every day since.
Alice, on the left in the photo, was an amazing, kind, loving human being, and she has left a gaping hole in the lives of many people. Her loss is such a waste.
The shocking and sudden nature of losing someone you love in this way is unique, and the support from the RoadPeace sibling group has been invaluable in helping me realise I am not alone in what I am going through. Seeing the faces and hearing the voices of others who have lost their siblings in the same way has been such a comfort, even though none of us would ever have wanted to be part of this ‘club’.
The police investigation process is extremely slow and frustrating. I had no idea when we first lost Alice that 15 months on, we would still be waiting to find out what actually happened. Again RoadPeace has helped me appreciate that this is (sadly) quite normal, and I know they will continue to support me when we finally go through the inquest/court case process.
I am so thankful to my employer Gateway 2 Conveyancing for making RoadPeace our charity of the year. RoadPeace relies on fundraising and volunteers to continue its vital work, and I am hoping we can raise as much money as possible for them.”
