As a charity RoadPeace relies on the amazing efforts of so many people who raise money to fund our vital services, often in memory of precious loved ones. Each month we will be highlighting someone amazing doing something amazing for RoadPeace.
This month, we’d like to say a huge thank you to the five cyclists who took part in last year’s Prudential Ride London, a challenging and scenic ride through London and Surrey, and raised a grand total of £7,248 for RoadPeace.
Mandi Chan raised £2,493 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of her sister Emily’s death in a road crash. The RoadPeace Racers: Matt Oomen, Nano Alvarez, Andrew Atkins and Mike Louzado raised £4,755, in memory of Matt’s brother in law, Eddy Lee.
In these difficult times of social distancing and social isolation, their efforts are an inspiration to us all, to boost our well-being by getting out and about, on our bikes or on foot every day, if we can.
