A massive congratulations to those who joined RoadPeace Local Group Coordinator Iris, on a 17.6km (10.9 miles) hike in Snowdonia National Park to raise money for both RoadPeace and Brake. Those who participated raised over £3,000 for both charities.
Each person who attended was hiking in memory of a loved one who died in a road crash;

Harry Abbey, aged 19

Lidia Zoetemelk, aged 41
Those who took part said:
‘Well done to everyone who took part and especially to Iris and Kasia for leading the walk. It was both a physically and emotionally challenging day. But so glad we did it!’
‘We had an amazing yet challenging day in many ways but as a team we did it. Thank you Iris, you’re a true inspiration and you kept me going’.
