Lancashire – World Day of Remembrance Service

November 16 @ 12:00 pm

The WDR for Road Traffic Victims is a globally recognised day, which always falls on the third Sunday of November. The day was introduced to remember the millions killed on the roads around the world, and to allow the bereaved to join together to reflect and talk of the lives of those they miss and will always love. The day also allows us to acknowledge the emergency services, and the challenging work they do in responding to road traffic collisions.

Please join us to remember those we have lost.

This service is open to people of all faiths, and people of no faith

This will be a time to reflect, remember and honour those we have lost.

Please note: This event is organised externally, by Lancashire County Council and the contact is: roadsafetyeducation@lancashire.gov.uk
