In August 2025, a group of friends will take on the National Three Peaks Challenge in memory of Robert Bown, who tragically lost his life in a road traffic collision in December 2023. This incredible challenge involves summiting the highest peaks in Scotland (Ben Nevis), England (Scafell Pike), and Wales (Snowdon) within 24 hours—a physically and mentally demanding journey that reflects their deep commitment to honouring Rob’s memory.
Rob was a steadfast friend, always ready to listen, offer advice, and support those around him. His sudden passing has left a profound void, and this challenge serves as a tribute to his impact on the lives of so many. The team has chosen to support two charities that resonate deeply with their experience: Andy’s Man Club and RoadPeace.
The dedication and strength of this team in undertaking such a demanding challenge are truly inspiring. We at RoadPeace are incredibly grateful that they have chosen to support our cause, helping us continue our work in supporting road crash victims and advocating for safer roads.
We wish them the very best of luck as they take on this incredible journey! Every step they climb is a testament to their love for Rob and their commitment to making a difference. If you’d like to support their fundraising efforts, please visit their page and contribute to these vital causes.
Good luck, and thank you for making a difference! To support their journey and contribute to these vital charities, please visit their fundraising page.
