Commercial vehicle safety experts Brigade Electronics has renewed its corporate sponsorship of RoadPeace.
Brigade’s support includes a £5,000 donation that will help us to continue our vital work.
Since introducing the first vehicle reversing alarm to the UK in 1976, Brigade, which has its head office in South Darenth, Kent, has become a global market leader in the supply of road safety technology to the commercial sector.
Brigade’s bestselling products include 360-degree cameras, which completely eliminate blind spots, proven to be the leading cause of commercial vehicle collisions; radar detection, which identifies moving and stationary objects even in adverse conditions; and reversing alarms, which use advanced broadband sound technology that is only audible in the danger zone.
Emily Hardy from Brigade Electronics UK, said:
“The work RoadPeace does is absolutely essential to helping prevent road crashes and protect victims and their families. At Brigade, it’s our business to improve road safety and help save lives. This goes hand in hand with RoadPeace’s vital work. We wholeheartedly support the charity and are delighted to continue with our sponsorship.”
Nick Simmons, CEO at RoadPeace, said:
“Our vision is for a world where road danger is not tolerated and where road crash victims receive justice and compassion. It’s only through the support and donations of others, like Brigade Electronics, that we can continue our work for safer roads and to spare future generations from preventable death and injury.”
