Where possible, RoadPeace also helps with queries about investigation, inquests and prosecution in individual cases.
A common call to our helpline is for assistance with getting a thorough collision investigation, a fair charging decision, and proper treatment by the authorities. Many families are concerned that their loved one may be blamed unfairly and from the beginning, which can affect the collision investigation efforts.
Where possible, we will visit bereaved families and attend key meetings with them. These include site visits, meetings with their FLO, the CPS or their MPs, attendance at inquests and court trials.
