REMEMBERING » RoadPeace Wood
RoadPeace Wood
The RoadPeace Wood has been planted at the National Memorial Arboretum, in Staffordshire, in memory of all those who have been killed in our roads.
Every year on the second Saturday of August, during National Road Victim month, a ceremony of remembrance is held at RoadPeace Wood.
The next gathering at the RoadPeace Wood will be held on Saturday 10th August 2013
>> Read the history of RoadPeace Wood for information about how the wood developed.

Other events at the RoadPeace Wood
The Central Motorway Police Group has sponsored a tree within RoadPeace Wood and hold an annual service of remembrance in May to remember people who have lost their lives on the motorway network within the West Midlands, West Mercia and Staffordshire. CMPG’s Family Liaison Officers have invited bereaved families that they have supported recently but anyone is welcome to attend whose loved ones have died on motorways in this area.
