Spring Appeal

After recieiving the Guardian Charity award in 2008 in recognition of our pioneering work, we were able to secure funding to continue our vital support helpline for a further 3 years. This is very good news in the current economic climate.

Now we are looking to extend our support services and secure our future as a campaigning organisation. 

Our target is to raise £20,000 this year so that we can cover our core costs and continue to campaign for crime on our roads to be treated more seriously -- not just marginalised as "accidents", as well as extend our Remembrance activities and Resilience Programme for the newly bereaved.

Whatever you give, no matter how big or small, will make a difference, so please give what you can.  

A thriving membership is essential if we are to continue and be effective. Can you help us double our membership?

RoadPeace exists because of and for its members. Our members, whether through befriending, campaigning or organising local remembrance services help us reach many more people, and of course membership donations are a vital source of funding for us, as we receive no statutory or government funding.

If you are already a member of RoadPeace please ask one, or more, of the people you know to consider joining us too. We know that among your family, friends and colleagues there will be many who are as concerned about road danger and the lack of justice for road traffic victims as we all are. Please encourage them to join us.

It is the support of our members that enables us to remain independent, and it is our independence which allows us to speak out and challenge the government on issues that are important to us all.
